i have a 7000rpm factory tach from a 67 camaro. i was told this was a rare piece but i cant find any info on what motor it matches. help please?

As far as I remember they all go to 7000, mine does. The difference between engines is where the red line starts. Most low perf are 5500, high perf are higher redline.

mine is a 327 210 it has a 5K redline 7K tach to my understanding a 55K redline is a 350 or 396 325 and a 6K redline is a 302 or 396 375 ?? ,

I dont know if anybody has mentioned it yet butt..Puting that plate on the impeler turns the pump into what is commonly sold by many manufacturers as a high flow pump.
