I am either going to have my intake polished or Jet hot coated...I am leaning toward polishing but can't seem to find a place that does it(Don't even know where to look)...I was thinking about Jet hot sterling coated...They say they will coat the outside only..But am not sure if there will be any sealing problems along where the intake seals along the head...Anyone have a coated intake manifold...if you do can you tell me if you like it...And any problems sealing it...Thanks again

I had my intake Jet Hot coated on my 35 Ford. It's a Edelbrock intake and has been on the engine 6 years no leaks yet.And it still looks great.

Eastwood sells a kit for polishing your intake if you feel like doing it yourself.

I had an intake coated about 8 or 9 years ago. It turned out great. Looked good and no problems.

Yes, I had one Jet-Hot coated once, and found it sealed great.

Also it's very easy to keep clean.

Or, we have a great polisher here I could refer you to. (Colorado)

I would definetely have the underside of the intake coated, to keep some of the heat of the oil away.
