The Caswell chrome plating kits look interesting, has anyone used one?

They offer a couple of different chrome plating kits. There is also talk of a new plastic plating product. Maybe it will work on those 69 dashes.

Yes I bought the whole package, aout 600 bucks. It does work on small parts but it does not work on pot metal. The results are not as good as a professional plater. My advice is don't buy it in fact if you want, you can have mine

Sorry to hear that. I was going to plate some suspenion links on a race car.
Did you try the electroless nickel or what type plating?

PitStop, did you get the triple chrome kit? I want to do seat belt stuff and thought it would be good for that. Drop me a line if you are serious about getting rid of it. http://www.camaros.net/forum/smile.gif
