I like the 69 for the vast array of engine/trans/option combos...

Uhm, I would say '67 or '68. They are the true 1st Gen. The '69 was like a 1st Gen and a half in my mind.

But you might want to move this to Bench Racing.

It is relative, really. I love the fat fenders and stance of the 68 but, I own a 69. Maybe, if I were you, and if I really wanted to know, I would pull out some Road & Tracks from the era and compare stats. Most just love the Camaro, no matter what year, motor or condition. I like mustard on hot dogs but, I suppose you like ketchup.

Fat fenders on a '68?..... It's the '69's that have the fat fenders!

I have owned a 67 and now a 69, I like the 69 more because GM only made this body style one model year and with the squared fender wells it has a more agressive look than the 67 or 68, don't get me wrong I like all three years, but 69 is for me...Mike http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif

Its funny,most people I talk to love 69s,but Im also a 67-68 kinda guy.I dont hate 69s,I just dont like the fender lines and I do hate the interiors.Course ya know what they say about opinions...
