: AutoMeter Spedo n Tach in 67 Dash

My 67 has a stock Speedo and Fuel Gage in the dash, its all once peice, I want to put a AutoMeter Spedo and Tach in its place.. anyone here done that? I belive a bracket would need to be made? any ideas?

hey the autometer gauge set-up is awesome, i have mine ready to install, i got the 5 inch phantom's speedo and tach, this size will fit into the plastic stock pod perfectly, then use big hose clamps to clamp around rim of gauge i have pics from larry the head guy from www.pro-touring.com (http://www.pro-touring.com) very easy to do i will try to email you the pics, goodluck

My Phantom gauges droped right in from the front and I used the brackets that came with the gauges....


I used two small green LEDs that I tapped into the top of the bezel for my turn signal indicators.

One of the easiest mods I've done on my '67, yet everyone (non car people) think it's an awesome custom job http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif

I put mine in from the rear instead of the front (that sounds bad!). It makes them look more like the factory gauges.
