I got the cover off and drained the fluid. I am staring at something. How do I know what gears I have? There is a code but it doesnt seem to be on the rear end itself. This is a stock ten bolt and it has lots of codes on it, which is the gears, or do I have to do the math with the teeth?
Also I had asked what fluid to use, how do I get it in once the cover it on???

Counting the teeth is pretty failsafe. Once you get the cover back on, there is a fill plug on the upper half, on the side, with a 1/2" drive square hole. Fill it up till it just reaches that hole.
