Hey, all.
My radiator support was badly rusted, so I am replacing it. I just took everything off of it, cut the top, and it pulled right out (well, with a little effort). Anyway, I'm guessing I can't just maneuver the new one in place. Am I going to have to take a fender off or something? I don't think it's going to push back in place the way it is. . . or will it?

Why take a chance? I'd remove the header panel, and loosen everything to see if you can make enough room.

I replaced mine and didn't have to remove the fenders. Just be patient and a little forceful and it will go. I did remove the bumpers and valance though.

I took everything off just to be safe.

I just replaced mine in the 67 .
I had pulled the hole front clip,for a sub-frame rebuild,with the front clip (less bumper)I unbolted the rad support and worked it out,the new one took a little work to get in and I did scratch the left front inner lip just a bit (just where the fender bolts to the support)nothing you can see with the hood shut.just watch the support where it bolts to the frame that spot got hooked on the inner fender well and wouldn't line up ,once I saw it from the bottom a screw driver "popped " it in place and it all bolted up ,I also set set the clip down on some carpet so it would get scratched while moving it around on the floor.

I was gonna say.... if you don't care about it and the car getting scratched up, go for it. Probably be easier to remove the header at least.

with the front clip off the car I came in at an angle from the motor side and popped it in.
