I'm wrapping up loose ends on my swap to a Muncie-20 from a PowerGlide. When the car was an auto there was a vacuum line from the top of the intake manifold going to the trans modulator, a second line from the side of the Holley 650 to the PVC valve in the valve cover and a third vacuum line from the front of the carb to the distributor vacuum advance can. Should I just block off the hole on the top of the intake and keep everyhting else the same or do you get better results using the vacuum line on the intake to go to the PVC valve. (I'm not even really sure what the PVC valve does anyway).
Thanks in advance for your help!

I just put a PCV Valve in my car last week, Before that when I would hit around 3000 rpm it would blow oil out the breather in the valve cover. The PCV Valve pulls air out of the crankcase to keep the pressure more equal.
This is how it was explained to me, If I'm wrong please fill me in...I know I stopped blowing oil all over the place after I installed it.

You are correct, just block off the vacuum port in the intake and leave everything else alone.
