I have an original '67 Camaro with the 327/275hp & factory A/C and I'm contemplating installing a 396. Aside from all the difderent brackets for A/C, etc...

Is the A/C box on the firewall the same for sbc and bbc?

The inside half of the box id different, to accomodate the larger block. They are available aftermarket, for about $70. They are functional,but the texture and color of the repops is very different.
