My twelve bolt has unusual perches on it, they are semi circular on either end and about 5 inches long on the sides with what looks like mounting or line up holes approx the size of a quarter in the middle, for leaf springs. I saw a simular rear end on the Year One 69 pro touring car, can any one shead any light on this situation? Mono leaf/multi leaf etc?

Thanks

if so, that is what a "normal" spring perch looks like. GM was the only company to use any other style on passenger cars. it is pretty common for someone to put these on when swapping a rear from a different application- it's what i used to put an 8.5 that was from a 73 Nova with multi leafs into my 71 with monoleafs.

Stock GM pads look the the ones at the bottom of the page in this link: http://www.tomsdifferentials.com/cat111.htm

The pads shown above are actually Ford/DANA type.

That is exactly the ones, but I do not see evidence of a perch being removed and the welds look "virgin". Thanks for the answer, are these correct for my application? or are they from another car like a Nova, etc.,

they aren't "correct", but they are functional, and i prefer them. they leave all your options open as far as leaf spring thickness is concerned.

Aren't the perches in different locations between a Nova and a Camaro?

Yeah, they are impossible to collapse and I prefer them also.
