Was the 12 bolt rearend available without the SS or Z28 package. Just wondering if the one in my RS came that way or was installed by someone other than the factory.

For more specific data you may want to consider posting your Vin number, cowl tag information and any protecto plate information that you may have, in the "Tag Team" aera. Interestingly enough, I had just done that a few days ago and found that I actually have a 'rare', or so it looks, "L30/M20" 1967 RS. One of like 4,756 cars....... Just because I questioned the 12 bolt in my chassis.
