All 67 and earlier are linkage rod connected. Sixty-eight and newer are cable operated.

Older Chevelles will work.

can you convert a 67 shifter that uses a rod to work on a 68 that uses a cable?

Is it as simple as finding linkage to connect from the shifter to the tranny?
Thanks
