mine were loose when i checked them. there should be a hole in the middle of thr rubber hold down. i put a skinny dull instrument in it and pushed. lubricate the ruvver first for easier installation.

Dull would be good as would some lubricant. I tried a phillips and it went right through it.

Back to the garage...

Lots of cussing and arms rubbed raw. Do the back drivers side first! You can't reach that one if any others are in. a short bar stock, cut flat a little smaller than rubber hole. Test rubber for strech first. Lots of lube, vaseline? maybe?

Luck, Kevin

Thanks for the tips. After a lot of cussing and kicking the dog a few dozen times (no not really), I got them in. I sure don't look forward to ever doing that again, but a full restification is in my cars future so I will be enjoying this task again some day.

Well that wraps up my winter projects! Time to sit back and enjoy!!!
