Has anyone used a Dakota Digital dash in there 67-68 Camaro yet? I have been thinking of getting one and was wondering what the thoughts are on this. I think it would keep it clean and neat and have all the gauges in the same spot. But are they accurate? Are they to be trusted for the amount of money?
Let me know what you thing about this.
Thanks, Matt.

I have no personal experience with the Dakota instruments but an old customer of mine does. He has a 68 Camaro and a 56 Nomad and has a Dakota dash in both. He loves them and claims they are right on.

I have a Dakota Digital system in my 69. It is great and very accurate. It is a very straight forward install. I have had the system installed for two years. They give you the sending units you need with the exception of the fuel sending unit and you use the one in the tank. The wiring is pretty easy. You will need to buy a couple of small rolls of 12 and 14 gauge wire to complete the install. For the 69 I had to send the dash carrier to Dakota for them to cut up the back of it and attach the gauge package. It definately gets a lot of looks at the car shows. Until last month, I was the only one around here with Dakota Digital. Now, a friend of mine has a system in his 57 Chevy Belair.
