I'm re-working a '69 Camaro for a friend and I'm wondering if anyone has purchased replacement inner fender wells for a '69 Camaro. The question I have is how technically correct are they from originals. Also what source did you guy's use to buy them through.

purchased a pair from ricks. They are goodmark and have visible appearance differences in the engine compartment. However, i didn't care about correctness , just wanted to replace the rusted originals, the fitment was good.... Worked for me

There are differences in appearance and quite a bit of difference in weight, which is almost half the weight of the originals. The fit is generally good and they look good when properly finished.

Wacky, I kept the old inners. The passanger side is rusty around the battery area (holes present), drivers side very good. However, they are in one piece with no damage, and repairable. They came off a base coupe model w/307 cid three speed.
if you need them and can arrange shipping, they are yours @n/c!
thx
