hey guys just got my 67 camaro back from bodyshop and was installing outside door window felts.had new 67 camaro/firebird door skins (gm) installed.the problem ive run into is the slots are different and are in different spots where they mount. my question is are camaro firebird(67)skins the same and is a 68 camaro door skin the same,because maybe the car had 68 skins on it and thats why they dont fit....... help graemlins/clonk.gif

67 GM door skins for 67 fit Camaros and Firebirds of that year. NOT 68's. You may be right, the skins may be 68 pieces.But it would be very difficult to install GM 68 skins on a 67. You can tell a 67 skin by a small notch right at the rear-most end of the vent window. If yours do not have this they may be 68's. Maybe you just have the wrong fuzzy

I had the same problem last summer. I ordered a set of the budget “functional” grade felt from Rick’s for my ’67 and the holes didn’t line up. In addition to the hole problem, they just weren’t that nice. As a result, I returned them and got the OEM quality sets (also from Rick’s) and they fit and look great. I recommend the “OEM”. Rick’s covered the shipping. I recommend Rick’s they are a good outfit…good prices too.
