This is a really stupid question, i know, but please bear with me, i'm used to full frame cars.

I Need to be able to jack up my girlfriends 69 camaro to work on the front & back brakes, and inspect the front end stuff- Where do i place the jack?

Do it put it under the front subframe, or just under the body where the pinch welds are?

On the back, do i just jack up under the axle tube under the leaf, or where under the rear body can i place the jack?

Thanks- graemlins/beers.gif

the easiest place to jack is right in the middle of the crossmember in the front, and put a pair of jackstands right behind the front wheelwells where the frame comes down past the firewall.
in the rear just jack up under the "pumpkin" in the middle of the axle and either place a jackstand on either side just inboard if the shock moutning pad, or on the framerails up next to where the springs bolt to the floor of the car- the part that looks like a framerail.
those are the easiest and safest places to support the car.

This diafram from David Pozzi's site indicates lift points. FWIW, I have always used the center of the crossmember in the front, but it has caused it to bow in.
