I have a 69 Camaro Convertible, I recently bought a new header bow for it. The one that is on it is bright chrome, not correct for 69 and it is also in bad shape. I started to take the old one off and it appears that removing it is not something that it likes. I am afraid to get too rough with it, I do not want to bend the top of the windshield frame or worse, slip and crack the windshield. Anybody know how to do this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

hey,

you guys talking about the bow or the molding?

angel.

the bow meaning the one that is attached to the convertable frame or the bow, the one attached to the A pillars.

I am talking about the upper molding not the top itself. It has a satin finish and it is where the sunvisor brackets bolt to.
