I have a 97 Z28 and it is due for a tune up. This looks like a bear of a job. I read that the easiest way to access all of the plugs/wires is to take off the y-pipe. any advice?

I had to smear lubricant on my forearm to change several plugs on the passenger side, and the last plug was a boy-man job. My teenager's skinny arm while I lay under the car giving directions!!! LOL good luck1 Kevin Jeff H Nov 6th, 03, 03:17 PM It's not a fun job. But I found that it was easier to remove the starter and set it aside to reach the back plug from underneath. If you do that, remember to disconnect the battery cables so the starter doesn't ground out(don't ask how I know). |
