Does the correct gas cap for a 67 RS/SS 350 read "SS" or does it read "SS 350"?

Let me see if I have this right. My original 67 RS/SS 350 that I bought in high school said " SS 350"
I thought the SS gas cap came 3 ways:
67 SS-350
67 SS-396
68 SS (only as there were not numbers added)

Comments?

According to CRG, the "SS350" was used until mid-year when the 396 became an option. After that, all cars just had "SS".

My December 1966-built Norwood car came with "SS350" on the cap.

My LOS-built 1E (end-January) car appears to have come with the "SS"-only gas cap so the switchover likely happened during January sometime.

Related question: Does the grille emblem always match the gas cap? i.e. "SS" on both grille and gas cap, or "SS-350" on both.

I'm home all weekend but best time to drop by will be Sunday any time. We're hosting a bunch of relatives from B.C. tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon for a belated Thanksgiving celebration.

One assembly plant may have used them longer then the other. Depends how long it took to use up the SS350 emblems that were in the pipeline when change was made
