I was saving my 2000th post to announce that my 6 year Yenko Tribute Car project was completed.
Two things happened. First, my car is not quite finished, and second, I missed my 2000th post. This is 2001.
My project will never be completed!!! I have located and purchased (actually, traded for) a real COPO replacement motor. (CE9 xxxx coded) My winter project is to remove the current 427, rebuild the CE motor, and install it in the car without messing up the paint!
Then it is just:
1.install the windshield and back glass,
2.install the headliner,
3.apply the Yenko Stripes
4.install the drip rail, wheel well, and rocker mouldings
Then I'll be finished.......yeah, right!
Anyway, for my 2001th post, I want to thank all those who have helped me through the snags.
