I am ready to put the trans cross member back in my car and I noticed (now as opposed to when I took it apart graemlins/angry.gif ) that the holes in the x-member are offset to one side. Which side does the offset go to? It is a '69 Z11 with a SB.

Any chance that it is a big block manual crossmember? Do a search on here, someone has posted pictures. I didn't think the SB crossmembers were offset.

There might be some small holes (~3/8") on one side just outboard of the center opening (2 at the rear & 1 in front), where some of the factory shifters mounted. This is the driver's side.
