I have a ST-10 with the numbers 1804-085-904. It has an iron case with aluminum mide plate with and aluminum tail shaft. Is there anyway to figure out the what the ratio of the gears are inside the trans without taking the trans out?
thanks

I won't be able to tell you that until i get the trans out of the car next week. Also should I have the 26 spline input shaft?
thanks

If it's driveable & has a tach, you can. Go 1000rpm in 4th gear. Go the same speed (mph) in 3rd gear & read the tach. If it says 1600rpm, you have a 1.6 3rd gear. Same deal with 2nd & 1st. To get the exact ratio, go here:
