Anyone know a company that sells a good 700r4 trans and the parts to install it in a 68 camaro. My turbo350 crashed today, so I want to up grade to the over drive while I'm at it.
Any good links to information on the swap?

I second that.I used bowtie overdrives and they were very helpful.I personally went to their shop to pick up my parts.
Whoever you use for a 700r4 I STRONGLY suggest using their "TV made ez" kit www.tvmadeez.com (http://www.tvmadeez.com)

I bought a TCI w/ lockup from summit. Bowtie overdrives has the custom crossmember and it's very nice. I put the LOKAR TV cable and dipstick on and a stainless braided vacuum line. Afterwards you will have to measure and order a driveline because the 700 is the same length as a th400 but uses the yoke from a th350. Denneys driveshaft has good stuff for good prices.
Hope this helps

Phoenix Transmissions, Weatherford TX. They come highly recommended by a couple of my friends in that area.

Aahh, this is about your site. I noticed that you labelled your camaro pics as "Boat and Camero pics" I think there should be a "a" in camaro. Nice car and boat. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

You might inquire about the 200r4 at 700r4.com . The 200r4 is more of a drop in tranny. The th350 is the same length as the 200r4. So you will be able to use your th350 drive shaft. Also the 200r4 can be built stronger then the 700r4.
