Today was a nice day and I took my camaro out of the garage for the first time in 2 years and it finally moved, BUT it didn't turn out as good as I thought. I drove it out of my garage and down the road, and it was going fine and then I pulled into my friends driveway to show it to him, and shut it off for a few minutes. I started it back up and backed it out of the driveway, and when I went to put it into first gear it went into gear but when I let the clutch out the engine stalled. I can put it in every other gear but it's just stuck in reverse. when I have it in neutral, and let the clutch out it goes in reverse. I put the shifter in neutral, and wiggled the linkage around, but it wouldn't come out of reverse. I had to drive it back to my house in reverse. Does anybody know what is wrong with it or have you had this happen to you before??? Thanks a lot graemlins/beers.gif

You need to flip the reverse lever on the tranny linkage. Adjust the shifter should solve the problem once you get it to where you can work on it.
