Hi

Where the axle (from the trans) connect to the differential, there is a yoke with a U bolt.
What is the tightening torque to laud on that bolt?

i removed it and now i wonder how to tighten it.

Also about the suspension : i tightened as hard as i could with a common key all the bolts attaching the leaf springs to bushings. Is that good?

for the lower plate (pearch plate) i tighten the U bolts nuts also as hard as i could.

indicate me what i need to do.

Marc;

The yoke "u-bolt" is a very soft amllable metal and the torque required is quite low to tighten these nuts - try 20~28 NM (@ 15~20 Ft. Lbs.) max. and use new lock washers every time you put this assembly back together.
The lower spring "pearch plate" should be torqued to about 55 NM ( @40 Ft. Lbs.).

Hope this helps.
