I am looking at buying a 1968 Camaro. I am looking for a fun driver. The one I am currently looking at has a 327 with a turbo 400. It has a 2800 converter. What does that mean and will it be ok for everyday cruising? I have only had four speeds and I know this is not stock, but it is a really nice car that I can get cheap because the guy has lost interest.

I don't think a 327 - t400 would be an original combination, but it should work great and last forever.

2800 is the stall speed, that is a little on the high side for everyday crusing. Make sure that you have a good trans cooler installed. Good luck
