Ok, I need some help with this one. I have an M21 that had a busted tail housing. I took it off and am trying to get the new one on. I get the reverse tab on the gear ok, but the housing won't go back to gether. It gets about 1/2 inch from the main case and hits something. Any ideas?

Doug, the reverse idler shaft has a pin in the end that has to fit in a vertical slot on the tailhousing, make sure it has not rotated. If it has, just rotate the shaft so that it the pin is vertical.
