I currently have a 39 tooth driven gear, and a 19 tooth drive gear. It's way off, so I need to change to a 43T driven, 15T drive. This is in a TH400.

I know I need to change the driven gear housing, but how do I remove the pressed-on drive gear? Is this something I can do myself, or should I have a shop do it?

I just called up two trans shops and both said that they are not pressed on. I guess I'll just tear off the tail housing and find out!
