Hi, I recently got a transmission from a friend which I think is a Saginaw 4 speed. I found these stampings on it 1P30 and a very light R imprint in front of those stampings, I was wondering if anyone could decode this trans for me or tell me of a good website where I could do it myself. Any help will be really apreciated.
Thanks,
Vin

www.dandltransmission.com (http://www.dandltransmission.com) has ID info for Saginaw & other transmissions, but they can't tell what car it came from. The quick & dirty way to ID if it's a Sag is if it has all 3 shifter shafts in the side cover, it's a Saginaw.
