i have a big trouble .
I am currently restoring my Muncie 21, now it is completly teared apart, i ended yesterday. ANd i noticed my 3rd & 4th Speed Clutch Sliding Sleeve, and main drive gear are really worn. Badly worn. While on the car, the problem i had was grinding when shifting into 4° i though because of a worn syncro. and also the other 3 gears and the other Speed Clutch Sliding Sleeve are worn. not as much but still.
What do i do now??
I feel like the restoration kit i have isn't enough to restore that Muncie to new condition. I 've been told it is even worthless i rebuilt it without changing at least my 3rd & 4th Speed Clutch Sliding Sleeve and main drive gear as that was the problem when riding.
Please tell me . I feel frustrated. I wasn't planned to buy a new tranny and i feel like it 'd cost a lot to buy new gears. 100$ per gear + 160 for the main gear, = ...
