hey i have a GM third series posi carrier in my 3.55 rear end...is this a good posi??

I believe Eaton makes the factory posi's. It should be fine.

Yes, it is a good posi. It can be rebuilt if it is worn out.

ok cool thanks guys. even though mine is in primo condition...it is good to know it can be rebuilt down the road if it needs it. Are some posi's unrebuildable or somethin?

also, is this posi pretty tough and is it good as far as the technology goes?

I think the Auburn, cone-clutch units can't be rebuilt?? Or at least not by non-factory means...

The Auburn and Borg-Warner limited slip differentials can not be rebuilt. When they wear out you throw them away.
