I have a 73 camaro. i'm currently swapping my turbo 400 and putting in a 4-speed. i originally thought i was going muncie all the way. i had a friend who recently put a m-20 into his 68' from a turbo 350. i thought i would be able to do the same and still be able to use most of my components with out much of a problem (crossmember, driveshaft, yoke). turns out the 70's aren't as easy as the first gen. I found some guy who has both muncies and super T-10's, i originally never thought of the super T-10 as an option but it turns out the T-10 might be an easier swap. the guy i'm getting my tranny from only has pre 71' muncies, is there any way i can make one of these work?

what tranny would you guys use?
has anyone done a swap like one of these on a second gen camaro? if so any suggestions?

What rear end gear do you have?

I have a Muncie M21 in my 75 Camaro. The T-10 installs the same way. The swap was no problem as long as you have all the parts. You need the following items:

crossmember for standard trans
bell housing or scattershield
flywheel
clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing (set)
clutch fork
Z-bar, rods, frame bracket and block swivel ball
clutch and brake pedals for standard trans
correct length driveshaft
correct shifter for selected transmission

the only thing i'm trying to figure out is what combination of tranny, driveshaft, and crossmember i'm going to use to make this work.

already have flywheel and pedal assembly.
i'll buy shifter and clutch based on what tranny i buy.
