The tech guy at the dragstrip said I needed a neutral safety switch. Where can I find the most simple bracket and switch?

Mike, you just need to get one that mounts on the brake pedal bracket and is activated by the clutch pedal. I'm sure any GM stickshift car would have what you want. Sounds like a perfect reason to scrounge the wrecking yard!

AutoZone sells them (Wells) for '68 Camaros without console and automatics. $14
Might be able to make it work.

I don't have time to go to the junkyard so I guess I'll order the bracket and pick the switch up in town.
