On my 67 camaro with the original 2 speed powerglide it shifts properly from low into Drive at any speed up to approx., 35 mph automatically OR manually nicely. Now if i throttle up to 40-50 mph in drive position OR am driving along @ 35 mph & the kickdown passing gear engages & let it shift automatically into drive OR manually shift from low to drive above 35 mph, it shifts into Drive very slowly. Takes approx, 3 seconds before it engages into drive. Is my problem in the kickdown adjustment rod ???
