Should U-bolts be used with these type bars or should they bolt up with the factory type mounting?Thanks.

i'm not entirely sure but I think u-bolts would be the way to go. I've heard people recommend them even without the traction bars, simply because the bolts can be a weak link in the rear end suspension. since the lift bars are there to "load" the rear suspension, they will probably put even greater stress on those bolts. I'm not an expert in this field though, but that's what I would assume from what I've heard.

2slo,when I installed the SSM lift bars I switched to the U-bolts.I don't trust the T-bolts.Don't think you can go wrong using the U-bolts. :D

T-Bolts will be too short, there is no option.
