I am puttimg a new rear end in my 69 and the new rear end was from a multi leaf car. My Camaro has a mono leaf. Does anyone know where I can get the spacers that I am going to need or what size they are so I can make some? Thanks for any help.

I did that like twenty years ago... just walked into an industrial/farm type fabrication and welding shop, they stuck a peice of steel bar in a bandsaw and made em up for like $20.

That's kind of what I figured but does anybody know what size they need to be?

Do you have the old rear end and a tape measure?

Yes, I haven't received the new rear end yet and the old one is still in the car. Are you saying that once I get the new rear end I can just measure the difference between the two? Sorry to sound ignorant but I have never had a rear end out of a vehicle before. Maybe I am making a mountain out of a mole hill but I don't want to screw anything up when I install the new one. I was also hoping to have these spacers pre-made so when the new rear end arrives I will have everything I need to install it. "No down time." Thanks again for any help.

The ones I got were roughly 6" long, as wide as the perch, and about an inch thick. They drilled a hole in the center for the locating bolt, then tapped a peice of rod in one side to locate the plate securely in the bottom plate. It lowered the car an inch, too.
You could also put it above the spring, no holes required then.
Your multi-leaf perches will be a touch wider than the mono's, so you need a measurement off a multi-leaf perch to get the width exactly right. It's only like a qtr inch diff.

Some lift blocks from a 4 wheel drive shop could be easily cut down to fit.

Don't forget some nice long U-bolts, 2 for each side.
