Does Gm still make the boot that bolts to the firewall that the clutch rod goes thru? If so does any one have the GM part #? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Yes they do. I just put one on my 69 and it came in a gm box. I ordered mine from Classic industries as I was buying a bunch of stuff. You should be able to get it from the dealer. If not try Ricks first gen. they have it on their website. Sorry I don't have the part number. I believe someone posted the part number a few months back.
