The swap is finished! Went from the stock Powerglide to a TH350 with a B&M 2400 stall converter, TransGo shift kit, and Hurst V-Matic 2 shifter.

Also changed the short water pump out for a long Edelbrock aluminum and Alan Grove brackets that mount the alternator low in front of the head on the passenger's side.

What a HUGE difference. If you're thinking about it, DO IT!!! Big thanks to all of you guys here that helped out along the way. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Glad to hear everything worked out good.I did the same swap except I used a B&M 2000 Holeshot.It is like driving a different car.

I love the Alan Grove bracket. Congrats.
