Is there a difference between muncie, Borg Warner T10 and Saginaw shifters and linkage?
If so, what is the major diff?

I believe the shifters are the same, the linkage/mounting kits are different for each trans.

Years ago I switched from a Saginaw to a Muncie. I was running a Hurst Comp/Plus shifter and linkage. The 1/2 and 3/4 rods were very close but the reverse rod is way different. Had a box of old linkages and used a torch to bend and make one work. It's no longer heat treated properly, but works OK for a reverse rod...unless you are Steve McQueen in Bullitt.
