My 12 bolt has an aluminum girdle cover. Could anyone tell me the recomended fluid ounces for a 12 bolt? I can't go by the fill hole, it is above the strong back.

Isn't there a fill plug on the cover or on the side of the rear? I thought you just kept filling until it started to come out through the fill plug.

The fill plug on a 12 bolt is on the right side of the center casting just to the rear of the yoke. It should take a 9/16 open end wrench to remove it. Fill it untill oil runs out of this hole.
