As of now I have a pretty stout 350 (approx 360hp 420lbs) but a th350 and open 10 bolt. I have put enough money into this car to rationalize swapping the tranny and rear.

What I am looking to do is have a 5 speed manual and some sort of posi(probably 12 bolt for the bragging rights)

I have looked through a few things but i cannot decide whats the best route keisler kit or following the build in car craft april '04 which used a tremec 3550, or some other route.

The rear end is also a puzzle because i want to have a stout posi but not spend $2k gettin it

You can build a pretty strong 8.5 10 bolt for around $1200.

My first choice for the rearend sofar would be from ricks first gen
