I'm looking at getting a new convertor and was wondering what everybody suggests for my combo. Has anyone ever heard of a TCS convertor www.tcsproducts.com (http://www.tcsproducts.com) I was thinking of one of these. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with having a stall costom built by a tranny shop. I found one that builds them using all TCI parts and a 1 yr. garantee for a third of the price ,just an idea.

tcs is a very good torque converter company. i know a couple of my racing buddies use/have used them with very good results, although i have not used them (yet) i feel safe reccomending them. ever race at mission? its a sweet track, even if the canadians give us guys' from the states a hard time ;) jk. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

No I haven't been to Mission Raceway, but I looked up thier web site and it does look sweet. I live probably 13 hrs away form there(guessing) so chances are I won't be there soon. The closest track is an 1/8 mile at Minot ND. Its only about 2 1/2 hrs away so I hope to go there. I also have a 1/4 mile track here in Saskatchewan, 4 1/2 hrs away, called SIR and I hope to get there to. I have only been to SIR once, as a spectator, and have never raced at any track ever, but hopefully this is the year.

oh, i see. i know tcs is close to mission, so i assumed you were from BC. yes i would bet there are tracks closer to you then. good luck with converter selection, and do check mission out if you are ever in the area. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
