Hey Guys
I would like to get some of your thoughts on installing an overdrive tranny - what type 4L60E/700 R4, 4L80E, 2004R, and by whom TCI, B&M,Jet etc...
I am currently running in my 69 SS a TH 350, which is turning 2600 rpm's @ 70mph with 15's on the front and rear. I beleive my rear-end is about a 3.31 and is a posi - Which is not too too bad.
But I am looking to upgrade to the pro-touring look with replacing the engine with a Fastburn 385, 17" wheels, 3.73 etc...and want an overdrive!

So suggestions please, I am a novice in ownership and info on my car so any help would be greatly appreciated and considered.

I would also like any information on what else needs to be changed/ modified or installed when changing to an overdrive tranny, and also about how much this change over is going to cost me?
