Hmmmmm and to think I am going the other way on the 69? Each to his own or in my case, each to HER own.

Well, let me think. I do it the other way from what I am taking out and is on my garage floor.

1. Clutch pedal assembly (under dash)
2. BellCrank and all the parts to go with
3. Fork, throw out bearing and parts to go with
5. Bellhousing and clutch pack
6. Pedal return spring
7. Transmission
8. Drive Shaft alteration
9. shifter and hardware with top plate if consoled
10.flywheel and pilot bearing
11.certain electrical(backup switch, clutch detent/start)
12. Crossmember to fit tranny choice
13. Maybe exhaust issues depending on current layout?

I am sure that I have left something out...others will chime in. See my ad here.

let's see what I can add, I switched my 68 from a pg to an M20 a few years ago.

1... pedal assembly, both pedals together is reproduced, pedal pads are not included, buy them separtely.
2... right, repro clutch linkage kit is sold complete.
3 and pivot ball
5 easiest to pick clutch according to starter, one long, one short bolt, in a straight line = 153 tooth flywheel, 10.4" clutch. 2 bolts same length, staggered front to rear = 168 tooth flywheel, 11" clutch. Bell can be found used.
6 return spring is included with repro clutch linkage kit. If you have headers, is easiest to discard extension rod, and hose clamp spring to header tube.
7. Any M20 or 21(or 22) will fit. "correct" trans has speedo cable on pass side. This was to clear the old muncie shifter, not nesessary if you use a hurst. "incorrect" trans will connect right up to your existing speedo cable.
8 If your existing trans is a powerglide or t350, your driveshaft will fit with no changes.
9 yes
10 see 5
11 hurst makes a backup light switch kit. extend your existing wires to reach it.
11b locate the neutral safety switch on existing gearshift, cut and splice 2 large purple wires together to defeat the safety switch, otr the car won't start.
12 same as 8
13 exhaust should not be a problem

This is a great swap, especially if you're going from a powerglide, the extra gears are heaven. Enjoy!!
