Im swapping my powerglide for a Borg-Warner super T-10 .Since I have a 3.55 rear axle and my rear tires measure 27" (outside diameter).
Which drive gear /driven gear should I use?
Should I replace the cable as well?

You will need an 8 tooth drive gear on the main shaft, and a 21 tooth driven gear. This isn't exact, but pretty close...Hope this helps...Crash

Thanks,but how do I count the drive gear?The one I took from the trans is green with diagonal grooves.

Green is a 7 tooth gear, you need a blue 8 tooth gear...Crash
