I just had my flywheel refaced new pres plate clutch throw out bearing, about half way ingaged my cltch is making a sqeuling noise, could the flywheel have been cut down to much? graemlins/angry.gif

Jim, I doubt if it's your flywheel. Sounds like the throw out bearing either went south or it's not attached to the fork properly.

Sounds like a pilot bushing squeal to me?? They are usually noisy when the clutch is disengaged but will ocasionally squeal as the clutch is engaged.

It is either the throwout bearing installed incorrectly or bad from the gitgo. I have seen new throwout bearings installed that were not packed with grease when they assembled them. It also could be the pilot bushing or bearing. If you have a pilot bearing it is more likely to squeal when worn than a pilot bushing will. When a pilot bushing is worn it allows the transmission input shaft to turn out of round and will cause a clutch chatter and undue wear on the bearings between the input and main shafts.
