When you're lying flat on your back trying to muscle it into place I'd say about 732 lbs.

I just bought a m20 (same weight) and the box was marked 99 pounds and it cost $55 UPS MO to CA. Had shifter and linkage too, so maybe a little less weight.

:mad: Yeah, my TKO is about the same :mad: It's really fun when it you are moving it around to get it to slide in and your jack rolls away, and you have to somehow hold the tranny and slide the jack into place.

Dry weight witout shifter = 71.6 lbs for a factory M22.

Ryan- mine's got the shifter on it too- Was yours in a wood crate, or just some sort of box?

99lbs seems pretty heavy.... I just moved the thing last night and I was guessing somewhere in the 70 lb range. But then again, I have been lookin pretty buff these days :rolleyes:

So, I think I like the 70.6 estimate better... we'll just say 75 lbs to be sure.

Man, you guys need to get good with your floor jack...you shouldn't have to bench press the thing all the way into place!! Although, I'm sure I've done it that way before though too.

It wasnt in a wood crate, but a heavy-duty cardboard box. With all the packing I could see it weighing 10+ pounds, then maybe 10lbs for the shifter, thats 90. Where they got 99, who knows maybe that box was heavier than i thought. It was packed in really good.

I just crated and shipped out an M-20 (dry and with factory shifter).
I made a wooden crate for it and the total weight was 91 pounds.

You can weigh stuff like that on bathroom scales. Just be sure to clean grease off before putting them back.
