I have a factory hurst shifter, mounting plate, and linkage from 71 trans am. what year camaro will this fit. I know the shifters are the same for 71 for camaro and firebird, but what about the mounting bracket and linkage? Will it fit 70 camaro?

Kurt according to Mr.gasket/Hurst 70-72 camaro's and firebird's use the same shifter and installation kit. Shifter assy part# 391-6848 and install kit part# 373-7897.(Assuming you have the competition plus setup, you can check the part#/model type on your shifter).
