I was wondering if anyone here knew the aprox line pressure for the collent lines that run out of your trans and to the trans cooler. I have been debating this with a friend of mine. I have a very high pressure hose set up and I have some connectors that I think will work but he insists that they will not because of the line pressures.

There is not a tremendous amount of pressure there, heck, aftermarket trans cooler kits come with rubber fuel line and hose clamps!

That was exactly my thoughts I think what I have will be fine. What I have would be very compairable to AN fittings with a 4000 psi rubber metal line.

I'm too lazy to get up and look, but here is my guess. 40 to 70 psi wouldn't surprise me. Your friend is probably thinking that full line pressure is present on the cooler lines (120 - 170psi). There is a regulator valve for the lubrication and torque convertor oil circuits that keep the pressure way below line levels.
